about me

Residing in Bozeman, Montana since 1971, I first earned my real estate sales license in 2001 and have since advanced to hold a Broker license. On a personal note, I strongly advocate for the arts in the Gallatin Valley, regularly attending the Bozeman Symphony, Intermountain Opera, and Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. I am also an avid photographer, having studied photography at Montana State University. I have a diverse professional background including having been a chef for 20 years and a jeweler for a time, although all those are now cherished hobbies.

experience

Always putting my clients first, I have a deep and personal understanding of a buyer’s need to find that “perfect” home in the “Last Best Place.” I know your purchase could be one of your biggest decisions in the past few years, and my experience can help. My experience selling properties is extensive, and I pride myself on my negotiating skills in getting you the best price and conditions I can. I am proud to say I am a Certified Residential Specialist in the top 2% of approximately 1.5 million REALTORS© in this industry to hold this designation through the National Association of REALTORS®. I also hold the Graduate REALTORS© Institute designation and several others that help me stay in front of the changes in this industry. I have had the honor to sit on the Board of Directors at the state level with the Montana Association of REALTORS© for several years. I am also honored to have been elected as the 2024 President of the Gallatin Association of REALTORS© in which this new role allows me to bring my extensive experience and dedication to benefit you, and I am committed to providing you with the highest level of service.

"I just got to sit back and Sharon and Brian took care of everything! It was an emotional sale for me and they are both so loving and kind! It was really fast and easy!"

- Kathy Townley

"Brian did an amazing job throughout the whole process of buying our home! He was able to somehow find us exactly the home we were looking for. A Bozeman native who grew up there, he really knows the area well. In addition, he learned the real estate business from his mom, Sharon - who is his business partner and has been a realtor in Bozeman for over 30 years - so he is very familiar with the ins-and-outs of the Bozeman real-estate market."

why we love bozeman

I'm in love with the Bozeman Montana area – let me introduce you to my favorite place for all seasons!

This is such an extraordinary corner of the world. Having lived here since 1971, my family has relished living in the Bozeman area. We cherish the wide open spaces and the beauty! Bozeman schools were then, and are now, tuned in to the best education available. We’re so thankful that it’s been our ideal place to live, and I love sharing this beautiful place with you.

SOME OF THE BOZEMAN AREA’S ATTRIBUTES:

The beauty of our surroundings is such a joy. Experience our gorgeous “Valley of the Flowers” encircled by mountain ranges including the Bridger Mountain Range to the east, the Gallatin Range to the south, the Madison Range to the southwest, the Tobacco Roots to the west and the Big Belts to the north. Panoramic views are seen from anywhere in the valley. With a big blue sky overhead, it’s awe inspiring!

The biggest skiing in the country is found at Big Sky Ski Resort, Moonlight Basin and Lone Mountain Ranch about 40 miles south of town. Plus there is easy access to our community ski areas at Bridger Bowl and Bohart Cross Country Skiing only 16 miles from Bozeman’s Main Street. Random cross country trails are found throughout the valley.

Miles of fantastic trails are available for all to explore in the city, valley and surrounding alpine settings.  Many eco-centric organizations work tirelessly to maintain and improve this beautiful place for generations to come.

Fly fishing is superb in five blue-ribbon trout streams within 30 miles: Yellowstone, Madison, Gallatin, Jefferson and Missouri Rivers. Plus there are spring creeks in the Paradise Valley and other areas.   Rainbow, brown and native cutthroat trout are there for the taking.

Whether you’re a big game hunter, a bird hunter, a photographer, or you just revel in the sights of the flora and fauna we have here, you won’t tire of the amazing wildlife that abounds in the area. Enjoy huge herds of elk, flocks of geese and ducks, deer, moose and their calves, black bear, mountain lion, bobcats, myriad bird species, bunnies, etc.

Cultural activities rival “big city” talent – Bozeman Symphony and Symphonic Choir, Intermountain Opera, ballet companies, theater companies, our own historic and active Ellen Theater, jazz and other bands delight audiences at multiple venues and for reasonable prices. MSU hosts nationally-known music and theater events plus renowned lecturers from around the world.

Our artistic community is active and vibrant. Downtown Bozeman features art shops, fun shopping, and varied restaurants. Emerson Cultural Center offers a home to many artisans and their studios, plus The Crawford Theater and more entertainment spaces. We also have several arts festivals including the annual Sweet Pea Festival at Lindley Park.

Speaking of shopping, besides our downtown area, shopping centers, malls, and big-box stores provide a whole range of shopping possibilities. We’re a commercial hub with buyers coming from 50-100 miles.

Bozeman is home to many varied restaurants serving local, regional and exotic cuisines (many using local produce and meat). There are also several local breweries and taste houses to satisfy residents’ and visitors’ discriminating palates.

For the golfer, 5 golf courses in the immediate area provide scenic courses with many happy hours of playing: Riverside Country Club, Black Bull Golf Course, Bridger Creek Golf Course, Valley View Golf Club and Cottonwood Hills (public course). Thirty miles to the west is Three Forks Golf Course (an especially long season there), and 30 miles east is another course in Livingston.

Athletics is prized in Bozeman. Soccer fields abound throughout Bozeman. Plus there are swimming pools, hockey rinks, ball parks and tennis courts.

The Museum of the Rockies and the American Computer Museum are nationally known. History comes alive in the Gallatin Historical Society and the Pioneer Museum on Main Street. The Children’s Museum is a favorite. Historic ghost towns can be found in neighboring mountain ranges.

Our Senior population enjoys many activities at the Bozeman Senior Center, including a full schedule of trips and tours and daily meals. Senior living communities include Aspen Pointe, Highgate, and Bozeman Lodge, all featured on the internet. Bozeman Deaconess has a culture of excellence for both patients and staff, and has been named one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation.

Montana State University, of course, is an important component of our culture, with 13,000 students (and growing) adding to our lively mix. Bobcat sports are enjoyed by students and townspeople alike. Our beautiful 17,000-seat stadium and boxes are regularly sold out for Bobcat Football Games. And our culture is made so much richer with all the activities that can be shared on campus.

Our fantastic air service at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is out of a newly expanded, beautifully-designed building, welcoming visitors with art and views of the mountains. It is the busiest airport in Montana – serving Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, and Big Sky, plus surrounding communities of Livingston, Belgrade, Manhattan, and West Yellowstone. We currently have (some are seasonal) direct flights to Portland, New York City, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Atlanta, and more.

All in all – Bozeman is a fantastic place to live, work and play. Let me help you find your place in this MOST LIVABLE PLACE!
